Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: 6 December 2025

1. Why This Disclosure Exists

FixGearTech is monetised using affiliate links. This disclosure explains how those
links work and how they affect you as a reader.

2. Amazon Associates Programme

FixGearTech is a participant in the
Amazon EU Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme
designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and
linking to Amazon.co.uk and other Amazon websites.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

3. Other Affiliate Partners

From time to time we may also use affiliate links from other retailers, brands or
networks (for example technology stores, VPN providers or software vendors). When
you click these links and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission.

4. What This Means for You

  • You do not pay extra because of our affiliate links.
  • Prices and offers are set by the retailer, not by FixGearTech.
  • Commission helps us cover hosting, testing devices and producing in-depth guides.

5. Our Editorial Independence

We aim to keep our reviews, guides and recommendations honest and independent.
Affiliate relationships do not change:

  • Our opinion of a product or service.
  • The pros and cons we describe in reviews.
  • Our willingness to criticise poor products or bad value.

We only recommend products that we would consider using ourselves or that we believe
are genuinely useful for our readers.

6. How to Recognise Affiliate Links

Most outbound product links to retailers such as Amazon.co.uk, as well as some
buttons or “Check price on Amazon” style links, are affiliate links. If you prefer,
you can search for the product directly on the retailer’s site instead of using our
links.
